Our opportunity quilt

To this end, we have many activities for our members and that include the public.   These include speakers, workshops, a quilt show, and a lot of donations to community organizations.  We invite you to browse our website and see what we’re all about.

Giving to the community is a major focus for the Roseville Quilters Guild, and we accomplish this in many ways. Learn more about our Community Outreach activities.

Victorian Radiance

The quilt top was made by Adele Ingraham of Benicia, CA and donated to the Roseville Quilters Guild.  It was created using expertly executed Broderie Perse appliqué.  Broderie Perse is the method of appliquéing a whole motif - such as a flower with all its petals and leaves - rather than constructing a flower from individual pieces of fabric.  The motif is cut out with a small margin, then needle-turned onto the background. The quilt was brought to life by the beautiful custom quilting done by Lin Squires.

We will sell tickets for the quilt all year long and draw the winner of this quilt at  our quilt show, at 3pm on Saturday, May 18, 2018.  You need not be present to win.
